How our products are measured
Our measuring is done with the product lying flat. If there is a tag with the original size we will list it, but will also take into account if it's shrunk or stretched out. These are based on what we see and we suggest you check the measurements listed against an item you already own. All our measurements are in inches.
Tops - Short Sleeve and Sleeveless
PIT TO PIT: is the width from armpit to armpit
LENGTH: is the measurement from back of collar to bottom hem
Tops - Long Sleeve and 3/4 Sleeve
PIT TO PIT: is the width from armpit to armpit
LENGTH: is the measurement from back of collar to bottom hem
SLEEVE LENGTH: is the measurement from pit to cuff
Bottoms - Shorts, Jeans and Pants
WAIST: is the circumference of the pants.
RISE: is from the front top of waistband to the crotch seam
HIP: this measurement is usually 1.5 to 2 inches below the zipper and is the widest part of the hip
LENGTH: this measurement is from the tip of the waistband till the end of the pant leg.
INSEAM: is from the crotch seam to the end of the bottom hem
LEG OPENING: this is measured by placing the tip of the tape measure at one end of the opening and pulling it to the other.
